తాత్పర్యం - ఎవరు మండుతున్న అగ్నిని జలముతో చల్లార్చినట్టు తమకు
కలిగిన కోపమును తమ బుద్ధితో అపగలరో అట్టి మహానుభావులైన పురుష శ్రేష్ఠులు

వివరణ - కామ క్రోధాది అరిషడ్వర్గములలొ క్రోధము ఒకటి. క్రోధము
జనించుట వలన మానవుని బుద్ధి నశిస్తుంది. తద్వారా అతడు పాపపు పనులు
చేయడానికి పూనుకుంటాడు. శ్రీ ఆంజనేయుడు తనకు కలుగజేసిన అపార నష్టాలకు
రావణుడు కోపముతో దూతను చంపకూడదనే రాజనీతిని కూడా మరచి ''వానరుని
సంహరించండి'' అని అజ్ఞాపిస్తాడు. అప్పుడు విభీషణుడు అన్నగారికి హితబోధ చేసి
అతని క్రోధాన్ని తగ్గిస్తాడు. క్రోధము తగ్గిన రావణుడు జ్ఞానవంతుడై చంపడమను
తన నిర్ణయాన్ని మార్చుకుని హనుమంతుని తోకను కాల్చమని ఆజ్ఞాపిస్తాడు.
సీతమ్మ
తల్లికి జరుగుచున్న అక్రమాలు తన కళ్లారా చూసిన ఆంజనేయ స్వామి కోపముతో
జ్ఞానహీనుడై ఇంగితమును మరచి లంకను తగులపెడతాడు. ఆ లంకలోనే సీతాదేవి ఉన్నదనే
జ్ఞానము కూడా ఉండదు.
కోపము వలన జ్ఞానము నశించిన స్వామి... పరమ సాధ్వి సీతాదేవిని అగ్నిదేవుడు ఎలా కాలుస్తాడనే ఆలోచనాహీనుడు కూడా అవుతాడు.
అందువలన
శ్రీ ఆంజనేయస్వామి మనకు ఉపదేశించిన ఈ శ్లోకాన్ని ఈ వారం అనుసంధించి కామా
క్రోధ లోభ మద మాత్సర్యాలను వదలి జ్ఞానవంతులము అవుదాము.

ANGRY IS THE ENEMY TO THE MANKIND
Angry
is the key enemy to the mankind. It can stoop them from the level of HERO to
ZERO. Angry is one of the six things (kama, krodha, lobha, moha, mada,
martsrya) the man should always be away. The person who surrender to the anger looses
his temper and right attitude. He never fears to do any harm to the fellow
beings. In Sundarakanda there are two instances for this. Ravana who agrieved
by the deeds of Hanuma orders to kill him. He looses the norm that an
ambassoder should not be killed. His brother awakens him and asked him not to
kill Hanuma. Then Ravana orders to burn the valam of Hanuma.
Hanuma
also looses his temper and by forgetting that Sitadevi is in Lanka destroys it
with fire. He even does not think that Sita Sadhvi will not be destroyed by
fire..
These are the two incidents which advice us to
leave the anger and be wise in decissions. This is the message given by this
Sloka...Let all of us chant this sloka regularly and keep angry under control...
